THe magnificent seven on the trail.
- Pre-Cycle.
We are currently relaxing in Seoul en route to Ulan Bator. Tomorrow we will arrive in UB and make final preparations to the bikes and kit before heading off on the 21st.
- Day 1.
After a late start, at 1600 hours, the team managed to complete 65km. Everyone in good spirits and looking forward to a big day tomorrow.
- Day2.
End of Day 2 team managed to do 100km all good but very hard going. Neil Macmillan had to retire due to illness. Rest of the team very tired.
- Day 3.
90km through the mountains.
- Day 4.
Another 90km with two walking wounded after bad falls.
- Day 5.
Job done. 600 km of sand and steppe and the job is done. Some very tough conditions with strong 60mph head winds, sandy mountains and several falls. Two guys suffered nasty leg and arm cuts.
