Every year, on 22 February and 4 September, we’re reminded of the world’s diversity of wildlife. The two days â€” the anniversaries of Steve Irwin’s birth and death — aim to raise awareness of the animals threatened by human activity and to inspire action across communities, organisations and politics. 

National Geographic ºìÐÓÊÓÆµler (UK) takes a look at the conservation stories that hint to a hopeful future for our coexistence on Earth.
