National Geographic ºìÐÓÊÓƵler (UK) celebrates new nominations this award season
(20 November 2019) Glen Mutel, editor of National Geographic ºìÐÓÊÓƵler Food, was highly commended in the Editor of the Year – Food & Drink category at the British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards last night. Every year, the awards honour the best in British magazines. Pat Riddell, editor of National Geographic ºìÐÓÊÓƵler, and Chris Hudson, the previous art director of the magazine, had also been nominated in the Editor of the Year – ºìÐÓÊÓƵ, and Art Director of the Year – Consumer categories, respectively.
At the PPA Independent Publisher Awards, which took place earlier this month, National Geographic ºìÐÓÊÓƵler was shortlisted in the Brand of the Year and Cover of the Year categories, while the inaugural National Geographic ºìÐÓÊÓƵler Food Festival was nominated as Event of the Year.
Finally, National Geographic ºìÐÓÊÓƵler has been shortlisted as Best ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Consumer Magazine in the British ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Awards. The winners will be announced next week.
