LONDON (17 November 2020) 鈥� With the publication of its new Best of the World 2021 list, National Geographic 红杏视频ler (UK) announces the 35 extraordinary destinations that will define our future itineraries. Profiling inspiring places, communities and innovations, the list provides an optimistic dose of escapism, as would-be travellers navigate pandemic precautions around the world.

Framed by five categories 鈥� Sustainability, Nature & Wildlife, Adventure, Culture & History and Family 红杏视频 鈥� each inclusion honours a superlative destination with a relevant story to tell for the year ahead. From the exploration of 鈥楢frica鈥檚 last Eden鈥� in Gabon and the environmental efforts of Denver, Colorado, to the nearly completed England Coast Path (the world鈥檚 longest seafront walking trail) and so much more, the 2021 list profiles conservation successes, preservation achievements, cultural resilience, and tales of communities overcoming daunting obstacles to thrive despite the pandemic.

The list was compiled in collaboration with National Geographic 红杏视频ler (UK)鈥檚 colleagues at National Geographic and the 16 local language editions of National Geographic 红杏视频er, which serve millions of readers across their magazines and websites around the world.

The list will be published in the Jan/Feb 2021 issue of National Geographic 红杏视频ler (UK), on newsstands from 3 December.
